University of Sunderland (London)

The University of Sunderland is a higher education and research university in North East England. It was founded in 1901 as Sunderland Technical College and provided studies in marine engineering and pharmacy. Sunderland Polytechnic was formed in 1969 when the institution amalgamated with an art school, a teacher training college, and a technical college.
