de Montfort University
De Montfort University, popularly recognized by the name of DMU has been included in the list of 150 best young universities in the world by the Influential Times Higher Education Magazine. Earlier it was a public university that was originally founded as the Leicester school of art in 1870. Later in 1992, it was named De Montfort University, after Simon de Montfort.
